I was so happy when Sony asked me to support the launch of their new smart phone the Xperia X. Sony asked a selection of bloggers to share some of there most special moments, the ones that you get just one chance in your life to capture or as Sony refer to them ‘X Moments’.
For Sony, an X Moment is a “split second in time means something to you that’s here and then gone. It could be baby’s first steps or achieving a personal goal, a sporting achievement, your dogs whimsical expression, or just a random flash of happiness and hilarity. It’s a moment that you’d love to capture perfectly that’s all too missable if you or your phone isn’t up to the job”.
Thanks to the wonderful world of technology now days and being parent I’ve been very lucky to have captured a fair few of these moments. This made it hard when it came to choosing my ‘X Moment’. After spending a few hours browsing thru photos of my little ones firsts and thinking to myself, gosh they grow so fast. I finally picked one.
My favourite ‘X Moment’ by far was my little boys first look at the world outside of his mummy’s tummy. He was only a few seconds old and they handed him to me and he was just opening his eyes for the first time properly. He had this little frown on his face as if he was like ‘argh bright light’ lol. The photo always makes me chuckle but also makes my heart melt, such a precious moment that we were lucky enough to capture and now I get to treasure it forever.
This is a collaborative post with Sony Xperia as I am a member of the Mumsnet Blogger Pannel, a group of parent bloggers who have volunteered to review products, services, events and brands for Mumsnet.
