Review – The Enchanted Ball Game By MegaBleu

Finally my eldest is getting to that age where she is starting to understand and take a interest in board games. So when MegaBleu asked if we’d like to review their Enchanted Ball game we of course jumped at the chance.

The Enchanted Ball game comes with 4 princesses, 1 prince, 3 poles to attach the prince to the ballroom floor, a dice and some flower beads. The game is set Enchanted Ballroom in the form of a board with a electric ballroom floor. The electric ballroom floor vibrates and plays the music which helps aid the prince and the princesses to dance, however this does require AAA batteries which are not included.

The game requires 2-4 players, whether you have 2 or 4 players you’ll have just as much fun. Me and my little girl played together, we had loads of fun and was the perfect way for us to have some mother daughter quality time together.

To play the game each player chooses a princess and places them on the coordinating coloured star. Each player then takes a turn at rolling the dice and then moving there princess the amount of spaces shown on the dice. As you go around the board you’ll notice that some of the spaces have pictures on, these represent the number of princesses that can go on the ballroom floor and dance with the prince.

The game comes with a pole which helps keeps the prince stable on the dance floor, the game also comes with a extra 2 poles I assume are in case one gets lost. When a princess lands on a space with a picture if the action is to dance with the prince, then you simply place your princess on the ballroom floor  and then the prince is pressed and the floor and music will start. The floor vibrates for around 30 seconds in which time the princesses and prince will move around the ballroom to the music. This was my little girls favourite bit, she especially loved the music.  Once the music finished the princesses then returned to there stars.

As you can hopefully see from my review we really loved The Enchanted Ball game. It gave me and my little girl the perfect way to spend some time together and it involved princesses what isn’t to love. I’d definitely recommend .

The Enchanted Ball Game has a RRP of £11.95.

Disclosure: We were sent The Enchanted Ball Game for the purpose of this review. However as always all opinions are honest and that of my own.

What a lovely board game for younger children. It is difficult to find board games which are designed for girls in this way and aren’t too complicated to play,

I’m not sure my three boys would appreciate this but the inner child in me wants that so badly – it would have been my dream game as a princess loving little girl!
