I have always been a huge fan of subscription boxes, I love the suspense of waiting each month to see what goodies will be inside the next one. My daughter is similar in that way she loves buying things such as blind bags, trinket toys and unwrapping them to reveal whats inside. So I was asked if I’d like to review a Kawaii Box and saw that some of the goodies from previous boxes seemed to be aimed at tweens, I knew it would be ideal for her and we couldn’t wait to see what surprises would be in store.
The Kawii box is a cute monthly Subscription Box filled with hand-picked kawaii items from Japan which can be sent directly to your home every month. Upon opening the box we were sent I was impressed with how it was all packaged neatly, so not to damage the products in transit. As for the goodies inside the box, well these were just as impressive, if not more so.
The first thing we came across upon opening the box was the Hello Kitty Christmas Cookie Moulds and Tsum Christmas Stickers. The cookie moulds were a fantastic addition to the box me and my daughter have been enjoying doing a lot more baking recently. I especially love the fact that there Christmas Hello Kitty themed too. The Tsum stickers were perfect for my daughter too, she already had other Tsum products and loves them. The next thing we came across was this DIY New Years Jewellery Kit. I have to admit I’m not the most creative of people when it comes to things like this, but my daughter is. I’m sure she will have lots of fun come new years making pretty jewellery for me and her to wear using this lovely kit below.
These two below the Sanrio Plush Purse and the Tsum Chocolate, my daughter were my daughters favourite items from the Kawaii Box. The purse is adorable as described by her, however if I could get away with using it I so would too. The Tsum Chocolate sadly I didn’t get to try, but my daughter tells me it was delicious and of course anything Tsum is always a winner.
Last but not least is my two favourite things from the contents of our Kawaii Subscription box. The Shiba Inu 2018 Desk Calendar well this one speaks for itself every blogger needs a desk calendar and also look at how cute it is. The Sanrio Photo Props were also a favourite of mine, the Christmas period comes with so many fun photo opportunities. I’m sure we will get lots of use out of them.
Overall though I loved my Kawaii box as did my daughter, its the perfect subscription box for adults, tweens and teens. I think it would also make a unique yet wonderful gift for someone this Christmas, I would definitely be more than happy if I received one again.
