My youngest is a huge fan of Peppa Pig, he especially loves George although I think that’s mainly down to his Dinosaur. Baring that in mind you won’t be surprised to hear that little mans Christmas list consists of a lot of Peppa Pig related toys this year. So obviously he was thrilled when he saw we’d been sent Peppa Pigs Interactive Play Mat to review, he couldn’t wait to play with it.
Peppa Pigs Interactive Play Mat is a interactive floor mat aimed at children age 3 and up. The play mat is specially designed to encourage children to get active whilst having fun and learning. The play mat itself consists of lots of bright colours to help capture your childs attention and measures 89 x 3 x 81 cm allowing plenty of room for movement.
Peppa Pigs Interactive Play Mat has 4 different fun modes. To choose a fun mode you push you option on the panel on the play mat and then simply follow the instructions. There are 4 fun modes to choose from; ‘Peppa Says’, a numbers game, ‘Where is? ‘ and a singalong mode. Each of the different modes can help with things such as your child’s coordination, memory, number and colour recognition.
Little man had loads of fun playing with the play mat. One of the areas little man can sometimes struggle with is his listening and attention skills, this play mat was a great way to try and help with this. The fact he had to select a fun mode and then listen to the instructions carefully in order to be able to play was great and it helped even more that it was done in a fun way too, meaning he didn’t loose interest.
Overall Peppa Pigs Interactive Playmat was a winner in our house. One thing I would bare in mind that the size of the play mat is fairly big, so before purchasing I would make sure you have a reasonable amount of space for it. However if you do then it would make a fantastic addition to any Peppa Pig fans out there.
Peppa Pigs Interactive Playmat has a RRP of £19.99
