Shimmer & Shine Dress Up Trunk – Review

The latest craze in this house at the moment, with my little girl is Shimmer & Shine. ‘Shimmer and Shine woahhh’ can be heard thru out the day in our lounge. She loves the TV series and her Shimmer and Shine toy collection is slowly building up. So of course she was over the moon when we were invited to review the Shimmer and Shine dress up trunk, at last she could become a genie like them.

The Shimmer & Shine dress up trunk is perfect for your little ones to dress up like a genie. It comes a gorgeous pair of Genie slippers, 2 bangles, 12 interchangeable jewels for the bangles, 2 genie bottle hair clips and a decorative genie bottle. The Genie bottle can be spun to help decide which jewels to place on to the bangles.

As soon as we opened it my little girl was instantly drawn to the bangles. The bangles were beautifully made and really easy to get on and off her wrists. A added bonus to the bangles as well was the Genie bottle. The Genie bottle can be span to help them decide which jewels they should add to the bracelet, was a great little game for her to play.

Her other favourites from the Dress Up Trunk were the slippers and the hair clips. The slips were super cute, I was bit worried at first that they might not fit… however luckily they fitted fine. She also loved putting the Genie bottle hair clips in her hair, she is turning into a proper little girly girly these days and so these for us were the perfect little accessory.

Overall my little girl loved all the different dress up pieces inside the Dress Up Trunk, including the Trunk itself which is now being used to store all her little treasures about of her brothers reach. If you have a Shimmer and Shine fan in your house or know of any, i’d definitely recommend the Shimmer & Shine Dress Up Trunk.

The Shimmer & Shine Dress Up Trunk retails at £12.99.

Disclosure: We were kindly sent The Shimmer & Shine Dress Up Trunk for the purpose of this review. However as always all opinions are honest and that of my own.
