Both my little ones love watching YouTube kids on their tablets, especially videos of other kids opening toys and talking about them. One toy that has stood out a lot to both of them is the Zhu Zhu Hamsters. So of course they were thrilled when we were asked to review Zhu Zhu Pet Hamsters & Playsets range.
There are a variety of different options to choose from when it comes to the Zhu Zhu Hamster. We were sent Mr squiggles and Num Nums. Both were very cute yet somehow had their own little personalities, Num Nums even wore glasses. Both Zhu Zhu Pets were super soft.
The Wheel and tunnel were great additions to the Zhu Zhu Hamsters. There were both easy to set use and use. You can place a hamster at the top of the tunnel and push the mark on his/her back to make the hamster move. The hamster then runs down the tunnel. The kids had loads of fun racing theirs to see who could go down the tunnel quicker.
One of the other playsets we were sent was the adventure ball. They both had tons of fun playing with the Wheel and tunnel, however the adventure ball was definitely their favourite. The ball clips together easily and there’s a little hatch for easy access to the hamster. Once the hamster is secured inside you can open the hatch, push the mark on his/her back and close the hatch to secure they can run. I was really impressed with then so actually and how a tiny running hamster could make the ball roll around our front room as fast and as much as it did.
All the playsets were a winner with both my little ones. They had so much fun playing with it all and it kept them entertained for hours. The kids especially loved that they had a hamster each to play with. They’ve even brought them a long on a few of our car journeys recently.
Overall I definitely recommend Zhu Zhu Pet Hamsters & Playsets.
